Product Description

Explore colors, shapes and creative construction with this Colorful Geometric Building Blocks Set, featuring an assortment of squares, rectangles, triangles, cylinders and circular inserts

Bright yellow, green, orange, red and blue pieces provide plenty of combinations for arranging patterns, building small structures and creating imaginative designs

The selection includes long and short cylinders, narrow rectangular blocks, triangular pieces that can be paired together, and square shapes with contrasting circular centers Children can begin by sorting the pieces by color or shape, then experiment with stacking towers, lining up cylinders, forming geometric pictures or building simple bridges and houses

Combining two triangles to form a square or matching circular pieces with their surrounding shapes offers opportunities to explore how different forms fit together

Open-ended play encourages children to plan their designs, adjust the placement of pieces and discover which arrangements balance successfully

The set also provides opportunities to practice hand-eye coordination, fine motor movements, counting and spatial awareness through hands-on activities

Use the blocks on a flat surface for independent building or shared play, taking turns to add pieces and create new constructions
