Place the lid on tightly and center the Popping in the microwave

Cook on high for about 3 minutes (1000-watt microwave)

Add seasonings if desired to the top of the popped corn, like butter or margarine, salt and other flavorings

Cover the Popper and place it back into the microwave for about 20 seconds

Once done, shake lightly to distribute the seasonings and allow un-popped kernels to settle to the bottom
