With a lot of designers in U.K. making their way to fame, Alice Temperley created a signature clothes that a lot of artists, models, and actresses wore.
It has been mentioned that she’s nearly done with her spring designs and about to hit floors with her bridal and cruise collections. She also attended a press event in New York City which made her to be accessible in having a few conversations with news writers.
She began her label ten years ago and unfailingly holds fame as one of U.K.’s most popular designers. One of her designs – black lace dress – was previously worn by the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton for the War Horse premier in London.
She may have a lot of ideas in mind which adds up to her excitement about seeing what can happen in the future. She recently opened a store in the Middle East and confidently mentioned about opening a flagship store in New York by either the end of this year or early 2014. She further explained that the flagship will combine all of Temperley’s designs which includes bridal, bespoke, Temperley London, and her own low-priced label – Alice by Temperley. She wants the flagship to be in one big space to allow customers to fully experience the Temperley London lifestyle.
Her upcoming Spring 2014 collection, on the other hand, was said to be inspired by film noir since she was inspired by it since she was 11. With such collection, she also seem to focus on Paris and Parisian imagery as well as the 40’s and 50’s which she thinks would be a perfect wardrobe to a wedding.
