Jeremy Scott at Moschino AW14 puts McDonalds and Spongebob on the runway

By | February 24, 2014

On February 20, 2014 in Milan, Jeremy Scott (American designer) debuts his first full collection for the fashion house — Moschino. The junk-food-themed collection includes the McDonald-inspired RTW and accessories mostly in Coco Chanel style. The pop-culture favorite, Spongebob also appeared in the collection. The McDonalds red and yellow color palette in robe coats, dresses and accessories (especially the handbag embellished with oversized M) that you couldn’t miss auspiciously steal the show.

This colorful collection of Scott didn’t end in the fast-food collection, there’s Spongebob coats and bags, Chanel-like jacket that was made vulgar with cow-print dress and a chain bag in the shape of a drink cup, Fruit loops dresses and gowns plus the Budweiser cape dressed with fluffy red heels, gowns made of giant candy wrappers and finally a wedding dress upon which a nutrition label was largely printed.

Here’s a selection of Jeremy Scott’s whimsical AW14 Collection:
